ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Everette Miller Friendship Class
ROOM 220
Curriculum: The class uses Nurturing Faith as a guide, and the teachers are very creative in their presentation methods!
Description: The Everette Miller Friendship Class is mainly an equal mix of men and women, with most of the membership in their retirement years, although they do have a handful of members who still actively work. Those later members are very active in class, serving as either teachers or technical assistants! They also have many members who are in retirement homes but are still very active in the class via Zoom. The class is very generous in their interest and giving to those less fortunate.

.Description: Through facilitated discussions, using the Formations study guides, the Journey Class strives to gain a greater understanding of the ancient Biblical stories, and how those stories inform our modern lives. Journey members are a broad range of ages and life stages. We enjoy sharing often divergent views and welcoming newcomers. Come join us!
ROOM 110
Charting a path for Christian living brings this group together each week for bible study. Couples and singles can be found in fellowship on Sundays, at class parties, working side-by-side in mission opportunities, and at the beach at family retreats.
ROOM 319
The Sharing Thoughts Class is open to all ages and experiences. The class typically has a group discussion of class-selected content. Class attendees prefer open discussions and loose organization.
Scriptural Serendipity Class
ROOM 219
Participants of diverse ages and perspectives share an enthusiasm for broadening our understanding of scripture in a small group setting. Members share their own understanding and resources with the class as we study books of the Bible in depth. All viewpoints are welcome and respected. Join us as we seek to understand the culture from which scripture emerged and the meaning it has for our lives today.
Unity meets primarily online but is constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of its members. Anyone interested in meeting via Zoom is invited to join our community. Room 302 is also reserved for their class.
The Unity Class is a group of adult learners who come together weekly to discuss similarities and differences in their spiritual journeys. Sometimes lessons are structured, sometimes the lessons are simply discussions about Biblical stories or scriptures, or current events. Class members quickly become friends as they celebrate families, come together during trying times, and joyfully search for connections -- because, after all, "love is what holds us together in perfect unity."
ROOM 318
The Wilderness class openly discusses faith and doubt, familiar and unfamiliar Bible passages, and how our faith and our daily lives intersect. We celebrate each other's successes and mourn each other's difficulties. We have regular get-togethers outside of church, as well as an annual retreat. The class is primarily college students and young professionals (roughly ages 18-28 years old).
