Warren and Maureen Howell joined our ministerial staff in July of 2021. A native of Southern California, he has a Bachelor of Music (Baylor University, 1985), and a Masters in Church Music (The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, 1987), where he met his wife, Maureen (Giles) Howell, originally of Danville, VA. Together, they have raised two children and served churches in Virginia, Florida, Kentucky, and North Carolina (St. Johns Baptist Church, Charlotte, and now, First Baptist, Raleigh). Warren enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, writing, and spending time with his far-flung family.
