Michael is a native of North Carolina, and joined the FBC staff in 2020. He has received an Associate Degree in Agri-Business from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from the University of Mount Olive, and Master’s degree from Wake Forest School of Divinity. He has spent an equal amount of time working in Youth and College ministries of all shapes and sizes in many different capacities. Michael is extremely passionate about Youth & College ministries, worship, and elevating the voices of young people in the Church. 

On any given day you can find Michael watching a hefty amount of Sitcoms & Fantasy/Sci-fi Television, cooking a delectable meal and playing music with his close friends until the early hours of the day. Michael is extremely well-versed in the enneagram and ancient Christian spirituality. Michael currently lives in Raleigh with the cutest dog on planet earth and is married to Sara, the most amazing human on planet earth.
