2026 TOY JOY PROGRAM INFORMATION

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU APPLY:

Toy Joy is a ministry of First Baptist Church.

This ministry assists PARENTS AND GUARDIANS WHO CURRENTLY LIVE IN WAKE COUNTY AND ARE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES by providing Christmas gifts for their children (ages 18 and under) living in their household.

THIS IS A ONE-DAY, IN-PERSON EVENT FOR REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS ONLY and will be held on Saturday, NOVEMBER 14, 2026 at First Baptist Church in downtown RALEIGH.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS MAY APPLY ONLINE for this event DURING THE APPLICATION PERIOD.

THE APPLICATION LINK WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE (BELOW) ONLY DURING:

Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 between 12:00pm to 2:00pm

The application link found at the bottom of this page will only be accessible during these dates and times. We only allow one application per family. Duplicates will not be considered.

Space is very limited, so PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE AVAILABLE TO ATTEND ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14 2026. We are unable to offer make-up days.

TO QUALIFY, APPLICANTS MUST:

· Have a financial need

· Live in WAKE COUNTY, North Carolina

· be the PARENT OR GUARDIAN of the child(ren) on their application. (Each child may only be registered ONCE.)

· Be able to be contacted by email or by phone/text.

· Be able to provide your own transportation to attend the event

ACCEPTED APPLICANTS will receive an approval email or text confirmation, with instructions to sign up for an appointment time. It will take at least 3-4 weeks to process applications. We will contact all applicants by November 1, 2026.

IF your application is accepted, you will be invited to sign up for an appointment to attend this event. During your appointment, you will be able to choose a gift for each of your children, along with some other items (stuffed animal and books for each child and puzzle or game and wrapping kit for each family). You can expect participation to take 30 minutes to an hour.

WHEN COMPLETING THE APPLICATION:

IF you do not have an email address, type in “FBCtoyjoyFUN@gmail.com” as your email address so you may complete the form. We will contact you by phone/text to confirm.

BE SURE TO HIT THE SUBMIT BUTTON AT THE END OF THE APPLICATION FORM TO BE SURE WE RECEIVE YOUR APPLICATION. When you successfully submit it, you will immediately get a message from Google Forms confirming your application was submitted. Contact us at FBCTOYJOY@GMAIL.COM or call (919) 832-4485 Ext 5 and leave a message ON OR AFTER OCTOBER 1 if you have any questions or need assistance with this application process. It may take 5-7 days to return your call as this program is staffed only by volunteers.

The application will ONLY be available online on October 9 from 12pm to 2pm

and October 10 from 12pm to 2pm or until we reach our max number of applications.
