When the Infant Toddler Center began in 1975, First Baptist Church saw a need for high quality, affordable childcare in downtown Raleigh. While downtown has changed dramatically in those years, our center's dedication to providing a warm, nurturing environment is just the same. Housed within First Bapist Church, we are a non-profit organization with a Board of Directors composed on nine church members and four Infant Toddler Center parents. A Five Star Center since 2015, we are proud that some children we cared for as babies are now bringing their own babies to us!

The early years are among the most critical for growth and development, so we focus only on babies ages 7 weeks to 3 years old. The littlest ones thrive at ITC because we’re a small center with some of the lowest child-caregiver ratios you’ll find.

Like many centers, the waiting list for infant care can be long, so we encourage you to get on our waiting list even before your little one’s arrival.
