In the liturgy for our baby dedications, adults promise to support and care for the child “for they belong to us as well.” The children in our church family promise to pick them up when they fall, and show them the way when they get lost. We take these promises seriously, knowing that the nurture of children is a holy responsibility. We sing and clap, we laugh and race cars together, we make crafts and learn to pray. Most of all, we remind children that God loves them, and so do we.

Our goal in the preschool suite is to teach our babies through kindergarteners of God’s love and the life and ministry of Jesus. We hope that children, from their earliest days of memory, will come to know church as a good place to be – a place where they will be affirmed and accepted not for what they can do, but for who they are as children of God.
