First Baptist Church Food Service provides meals for regular church meals, specials events and events being held at the church by church members or outside groups using the church facility. The Food Service is directed by prize winning chef Troy Dye and his staff.
The menus for upcoming Wednesday night suppers are as follows (all meals come with salad and bread):
April 23: Pork bbq with baked beans and coleslaw; non-meat option: non-meat bbq.
April 30: Hamburger steak and gravy with potatoes, fried apples, and corn; non-meat option: mock hamburger steak.
May 7: Orange chicken with fried rice and broccoli; non-meat option: mock orange chicken; kids: egg rolls.
May 14: Pork ribs with baked beans or green beans; non-meat option: vegetable patty; kids: nuggets.
May 21: Sweet and sour meatballs with potatoes and corn; non-meat option: mock hamburger steak; kids: corn dogs.
May 28: Chicken penne pasta, broccoli Normandy, garlic bread; non-meat option: penne pasta.
June 4 (church picnic): burgers, dogs, chili, baked beans, macaroni and cheese; non-meat option: veggie burgers.
Cost of Wednesday night meals:
0-3: FREE; 4-12: $4; 13+: $8
$24 max per family in one residence
