
First Baptist Church Food Service provides meals for regular church meals, specials events and events being held at the church by church members or outside groups using the church facility. The Food Service is directed by prize winning chef Troy Dye and his staff.
The menus for upcoming Wednesday night suppers are as follows (all meals come with salad and bread):
February 18: broccoli cheddar soup and grilled cheese sandwich; kids: chicken and stars soup.
February 25: meatballs with rice and steamed asparagus; veg option: tofu.
March 4: grilled chicken with quinoa bowl and asparagus, veggie medley, and chickpeas; veg option: same; kids: resh fruit and yogurt.
March 11: taco bar (beef and turkey) with rice, corn, and black beans; veg option: same; kids: same.
March 18: stir fry with beef and shrimp and rice; veg option: veggie stir fry; kids: spring rolls.
March 25: lamb and herb Mediterranean bowl with lentils, hummus, and cucumber salad; veg option: veggie hummus bowl; kids: baby carrots and peanut butter and jelly.
April 1: no Centerpoint (Holy Week).
April 8: BBQ ribs with potato salad, baked beans, and green beans; veg option: non-meat patty with sauce; kids: grilled cheese and apple sauce.
April 15: chicken kale bowl with couscous, cheese, olives, and veggies; veg option: veggie kale bowl; kids: roasted sweet potatoes.
April 22: ground turkey taco soup with tomatoes, corn, and cilantro; veg option: pinto beans, corn chips, bread, and rice; kids: chips and salsa.
April 29: white bean chili with corn bread, veggies, and fruit; veg option: same; kids: fresh fruit.
Cost of Wednesday night meals:
0-3: FREE; 4-12: $4; 13+: $8
$24 max per family in one residence
