EXCITING RENOVATION
OF THE SANCTUARY
CHOIR LOFT
We are glad to announce that the sanctuary choir loft renovation will commence this coming Monday, April 28. Work will include a complete demolition and rebuilding of the present choir risers in the loft to make them safer and enhance the sightlines of the choir members. The new loft will have hardwood flooring with safer steps and handrails. The work of the renovation will occur on weekdays and is being conducted by J.D. Beam, a respected general contracting firm based in Raleigh, and is projected to last 4 to 6 weeks. The renovation will not interrupt our services. However, the organ will be out of commission, and the choir will sing from the sanctuary floor for the duration of the project. We look forward to the enhancements and added safety that this renovation will bring to our choir’s space! |
