For a number of years, the Day Missions Fund, administered by the church council, has helped facilitate hands-on missions work around the world and in our own community.
For the fiscal year September 1, 2025–August 31, 2026, the council approved $5,000 for Rise Against Hunger, $750 for Crop Walk, and $8,000 for a Sharefish project in Honduras.
The council is now receiving requests for the fiscal year September 1, 2026–August 31, 2027. Applications may be found here and submitted to Dr. Chapman or brought to the church office. Guidelines for the fund may be found here.
We are grateful for those who envisioned this fund and for all who have contributed to it. It is a sign of our church’s commitment to missions involvement and a means through which to live it out faithfully. We encourage any member or group of people in the church considering a mission project to apply for help from this fund. |
