Crystal received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance Education with a K-12 licensure from Meredith College in 2001. She enjoys continued study and growth in the field of child development, brain development in young children, and arts education. She strives to make First Baptist Weekday preschool a family education environment in which parents play a vital role. She has taught in Wake County and Johnston County School Systems in several grade levels as well as serving as Creative Director/dance teacher in the evenings at a local dance studio. She started her time with preschool in the twos class, and has been serving as Director for 11 years. Crystal is the proud mommy of three amazing children, Nathan (14), Savannah (12) and Addie Mae (7) and blessed wife of 16 years to Dan Bacon. She and her family are church members here at FBC and Crystal grew up in FBC’s youth group. Having been a church member here at FBC for over 20 years, Crystal has had the opportunity to volunteer in variety of ways with children, teaching Sunday School, Mission Friends, helping with the dance ministry, serving on numerous committees etc.
