This month we'll be supporting The No Woman No Girl Initiative. Their founder and executive director, Shirnetta Harrell, spoke at Centerpoint in March sharing the objectives of their program. Their belief is that every woman and girl should be treated with basic humanity and dignity, regardless of their circumstances. To that end, they provide hygiene supplies on a referral basis from local business partners such as Wake Med, Healing Transitions, Boys and Girls Clubs, Haven House Services, A Place at the Table Cafe and more. They also provide supplies to individuals and families through family distribution events and street outreach. Below is a list of needed supplies that you may purchase and donate. Donations may be put in the marked drawer in the cabinet in the Lewis Lobby through the end of April.
