WIFI AT FBC
As of yesterday, September 29, the wireless network at First Baptist named "FBC" is no longer a public network. For security reasons, this network is being made private and will be reserved for only staff and FBC equipment that needs to run on a wireless network. This means that both FBC and FBCCC (our credit card network) networks will be private. It has taken us a while to get to the point of completely making this switch.
The public wireless network is named "FBC-MG" and has been available for a couple of years. The password to this network is "biography." Many of you have already switched to this network for internet access while at First Baptist. FBC-MG resets each night so it will not get bogged down with too many IP addresses. So, using this network may mean you will need to sign in anew each time you want to use the network.
Thanks for making this adjustment to your wireless use at FBC, if you have not already. This will keep First Baptist Church internet access more secure and ensure that all of our wireless networks work when needed. |
