The YMCA of the Triangle warmly invites you to the concluding session of our four-part dialogue series, a community-centered initiative dedicated to advancing racial equity. Mark your calendars for Friday, May 30, from 9-11:30am (breakfast included) at our church. This final gathering will build on the powerful themes explored in previous sessions and will focus on the vital relationship between health, well-being, and rest—especially as it pertains to equity within our shared communities. Held during Mental Health Awareness Month, this session offers a timely and meaningful space to reflect on how rest and healing are not only personal practices but also essential elements in the pursuit of justice and equity. Dialogues will be led by two esteemed facilitators—Rev. Dr. Sterling Freeman and Erica Smith, LCSW—who will guide participants through a restorative and reflective experience. Together, we’ll explore how rest can be a radical act of resilience and a foundational component of collective well-being. You’re encouraged to invite a friend or community member to share in this important morning of learning and dialogue. Please RSVP and register at this link by Friday, May 23.
