The program on December 11 will be led by the Reverend Vance E. Haywood, Jr., who is the senior pastor of St. John’s Metropolitan Community Church and chairperson of the Homeless Emergency Response Committee of Wake County which oversees, along with St. John’s, the White Flag Shelter program we have just joined. Vance will provide some history on the program, information about current needs and challenges, and an overview of the population served.
