First Baptist Church Food Service provides meals for regular church meals, specials events and events being held at the church by church members or outside groups using the church facility. The Food Service is directed by prize winning chef Troy Dye and his staff.
The menus for upcoming Wednesday night suppers are as follows (all meals come with salad and bread):
December 18: vegetarian chili with cornbread.
January 8: chicken fried rice with veggies; non-meat option: mock chicken fried rice; kids: egg roll.
January 15: beef stroganoff and green beans; non-meat option: mock beef stroganoff; kids: buttered noodles.
January 22: breakfast for dinner.
January 29: sweet and sour meatballs with macaroni and cheese and baby carrots. non-meat option: mock meatballs.
February 5: chicken and dumplings with mixed vegetables. non-meat option: mock chicken and dumplings; kids: nuggets.
February 12: turkey meat hamburger helper with peas. non-meat option: mock hamburger pasta; Kids: tater tots.
February 19: chicken bbq with corn pudding and green beans. non-meat option: mock chicken bbq; kids: pizza rolls.
February 26: Mexican night: soft tacos, black beans, rice, and corn. non-meat option: mock beef.
Cost of Wednesday night meals:
0-3: FREE; 4-12: $4; 13+: $8
$24 max per family in one residence
