UPCOMING TREE REMOVALS

Both a city arborist and a local tree service arborist have recommended removal of two oak trees at the edges of our parking lot. Both trees are diseased and dying. The arborists warn that the disease may spread to other trees if they are not removed. Also, dead limbs can fall resulting in personal and property injury. One is beside the driveway from Hillsborough Street and the other is at the corner of Edenton and McDowell Streets. Your properties committee is evaluating the recommendation and the cost of removal. We take tree removal seriously and will work toward appropriate replacement. – Properties Committee
