Day of the Dead 5k Race – October 28  Road Closing 8 am – 3pm

Centro will be hosting a 5K in downtown Raleigh celebrating the Day of the Dead holiday.

The 100 block of S. Wilmington St. (between Hargett and Morgan) will be closed from 8AM – 3PM

 Roads Close at 8AM

Race Start at 10AM

Live Music Starts at 11AM

Roads Open at 3PM

The following roads will only be closed from

10AM – 12 NOON:

East Morgan from Wilmington to N. Bloodwort

Bloodworth from E. Morgan to Oakwood Ave

Oakwood Ave from N. Bloodworth to the entrance of the cemetery.

City of Oaks Marathon, November 5, 2017

The City of Oaks Marathon should cause no difficulty for travel to FBC on

Sunday, November 5. All downtown streets will reopen by 8:30 a.m. Some street

closures in West Raleigh (around Hillsborough St.) and near the Crabtree Valley

area affecting short sections of Blue Ridge Rd, Crabtree Valley Ave., and North

Hills Dr. may hinder travel.
