Most people have their own idea about what a church is. We believe it means being part of a welcoming, open and honest congregation living in the image of Jesus. To be part of our church means joining a rich history. We were organized in downtown Raleigh in 1812 and celebrated our 200th anniversary on March 8, 2012.
Church also means having opportunities, such as joining a small group, playing softball, or singing in a choir, to worship and build your faith for an ever-changing world. Every day we support each other, as well as those in need across town or across the world. We come together to eat, sing, laugh, cry, and pray. This is what we call church – and we invite you to join us.
