As part of a larger church-wide visioning process, we are soliciting feedback from church members…
using an inventory developed by the Hartford Institute for Religious Research in Connecticut (www.hartfordinstitute.org). The inventory will be accessible by the end of the week through a link on our website. Those who cannot complete the survey online can obtain a paper version from Denise Arnold in the church office (919-832-4485, ext. 201) and return the completed copy to the secure receptacle in the office. We are asking that everyone complete a survey by May 11.
The survey will take 30-45 minutes to complete, and we know that this is a significant investment of time, but it is critical for our future planning that we receive as many responses as possible. This is a very thorough instrument which seeks input and feedback on every aspect of church life. It will also provide demographic data as well as a profile for our church around some issues of identity (core beliefs, how we approach scripture, how we view people of other faiths). Thus, we need to have a representative sample to capture our identity and diversity accurately. Please know that every response will be valued and kept confidential (no one will know who filled in a survey).
If you have questions about the inventory or the larger visioning process, feel free to contact any member of the ministerial staff. Also please be in prayer for the visioning process as a whole.
