The library at FBC includes both time-honored and contemporary Biblical references, books on Christian faith, worship, family life, missions, denominational life, history, social concerns, biography and adult fiction. Younger readers enjoy age-level fiction and nonfiction titles.
The library is located in the center of the church office complex and is open for browsing or checking out books during the office hours or any time the church is open. Books can be checked out for three weeks, and the procedure is posted on the circulation desk.
The library committee works in the library on Thursdays, and members are on duty Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. The library is named after Aileen Boone Simpson, longtime librarian at FBC. You may read about Mrs. Simpson in the February 2008 Newsletter, The Top Shelf, which is published quarterly.
If you have any questions, you may e-mail the Library or call the church office at (919) 832-4485.
