The holidays often present yet another challenge to one who is trying to heal from a loss. As in years past, the Capitol Square churches will offer a Holiday Service of Hope and Remembrance. The service offers spiritual support and healing for those who have lost loved ones, suffered disasters or gone through a catastrophic or traumatic experience. There is lovely music and a time to read the names of loved ones you wish to have remembered and lifted up to God. Following the service, a reception is held.
This year’s service will be held at First Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014.
